Nature Fest 2012!

The city of Cookeville and Putnam County are pleased to announce 6th Annual Nature Fest will be held Thursday, April 19th through Sunday, April 22nd. Nature Fest is a four-day event celebrating our natural world and is designed to educate the citizens of the region and beyond about the abundance of opportunities to enjoy nature right here in the Upper Cumberland.

The event is free and is held at Pennebaker Hall on Tennessee Tech University campus, Ensor Sink Natural Area and Cane Creek Park in Cookeville, among other locations.

Plans for Nature Fest 2012 are well underway. Hikes, lectures, workshops, presentations and activities focused on land, water, air, plants and animals will be led by knowledgeable people willing to share their expertise. more...
